Zippy! Zesty! Puckery! Mout-watering! The are just some of the terms that are linked to acid and acid levels found in wine. This class will talk about the different acids found in a glass of wine, the processes that create them, and how/why they are essential to all wine. This class will include a tasting of 6 wines to demonstrate the different acid levels associated with particular grapes and regions, and include a discussion of why acid is essential in the pairing of food and wine.
