Château Gaby is an under-the-radar producer of exceptional Bordeaux from one of Bordeaux’s ‘satellite’ appellations. Canon-Fronsac is on Bordeaux’s ‘right bank’ near the more prestigious appellation of Saint-Émilion. The quality of wine from Canon-Fronsac is on the rise, and Château Gaby is among the leading estates in the appellation. As is typical with most right bank wines, Merlot is the dominant grape here, blended with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. We will be enjoying a vertical tasting featuring 6 vintages of Château Gaby, assisted by the estate’s national sales director alongside a 4-course French dinner.
